Another week, and we're still a little stunned by the pace of all this. Thank you, genuinely, to everyone who's bought a pack, opened a ticket, or just followed along while we build this thing in the open.

A lot happened. Two packs shipped, we quietly switched on something we've wanted since the very start, and the first full game built on our assets became playable.

What shipped this week

Vice Beach dropped today — our 80s Miami kit. Pastel Art Deco hotels, a cinema, a streamline diner, terrazzo sidewalks under royal palms, a palm-median boulevard along the shore, a marina with a moored floatplane, and a drawbridge on the causeway. The best part: the set-pieces come apart, so you can hide our props and drop your own into their place. And there's a NIGHT mode that lights the whole strip — neon facades, a glowing pool, headlights pooling on wet asphalt. See Vice Beach.

The Farm pack landed as well, for anyone building something rural: barns, fields, fencing, the animals to fill them and the machinery to work them. If you've been meaning to make a farming or countryside game, this is your starting point. See the Farm pack.

The API and MCP are live, bugs and all

This is the one we've wanted since the beginning. As of this week, paid customers can reach our assets straight through an API and an MCP server. The documentation lives at docs.threejsassets.com.

We'll be straight with you: it's a staged rollout, and it's brand new. There will be bugs, rough edges, and things we simply haven't thought of yet. If you hit one, open a ticket and we'll turn it around fast — that feedback is exactly what makes a rollout like this work, and we'd genuinely rather hear about a problem than have you quietly work around it.

A few more wins

  • The first full game built entirely on our assets is now playable! You'll find it in your account under account/games. The assets behind it will be available soon, and we're going to release the full source code so you can lift it as a starter kit for your own game.
  • We crossed 2,600 followers on X.
  • Plus the usual pile of smaller wins that don't make for good bullet points.

Where the Lifetime deal goes from here

The All-Access Lifetime deal is still available, and right now there's $30 off it.

Here's the honest bit: the Lifetime deal is going away. Not behind a countdown clock, and not as a trick to rush you — we just haven't worked out how a single one-time payment fits a business that ships new packs every week, and at some point the maths stops adding up. We're still plotting the long-term shape of all this. While we do, the deal stands, discount included. If you've been thinking it over, this is a sensible moment to act.

Coming up next

More packs, of course — we're holding to two a week. Beyond that: the game starter kit, assets and full source both, and more to say on where Lifetime and the API go once we've actually decided rather than guessed. We'll tell you when it's real.

That's the week.

Cheers,

Aron & Sharon
