About City: Paris

City: Paris is a café-lined Haussmann quarter built for three.js and React Three Fiber. Cream limestone apartment blocks, zinc mansard roofs, plane-tree pavements and cobbled places give you a whole boulevard, and the city's landmarks fill the skyline behind it.

What's in the kit

  • Landmarks: an Eiffel-Tower-style lattice tower with arched piers, glazed first-floor pavilions and a summit beacon, an Arc-de-Triomphe-style arch with its eternal flame, Notre-Dame, Sacré-Cœur, and the Louvre pavilion and pyramid
  • Buildings: Haussmann apartments, a corner turret, a café-brasserie, boulangerie, librairie and fleuriste, an opera facade, a Gothic church and a passage couvert
  • Streets and water: boulevard straight, corner, T and 4-way tiles, a cobbled impasse, Seine water with a connectable stone-quay shore set
  • Street life: café sets and parasols, a Morris column, a Wallace fountain, réverbères, a bouquiniste stall, a carousel, a Parisian car, an RATP bus and a bateau-mouche
  • Sky: four sky domes and a cloud set to match the palettes

Palettes and night lighting

One geometry carries four moods through vertex colors: Clear Paris Day, Golden Hour on the Boulevard, Rainy Paris and Sparkling Tower Night. At night, warm window insets, gold réverbères, café festoons and carousel bulbs light the street, the lattice tower glows gold with its sparkle studs lit, and the arch's vaults are floodlit.

Built to drop in

Everything uses one shared flat-shaded MeshStandardMaterial with no textures. Heights are 1 unit = 1 m, plan footprints sit on a 4 m grid, and every piece seats bottom-center at y = 0. The landmarks are compressed to a stylized world scale (the tower stands around 40 m) so they read across a boulevard-sized scene.

Six decoratable set-pieces, including cafe_terrace, eiffel_esplanade and seine_quay, ship as a baked base plus named decor meshes and empty slot anchors, each with a typed R3F prebuild component. Every asset also has its own typed component, and a combined catalog GLB loads the whole set in one call. Use it for travel and tourism sites, city-themed games, walk-through scenes or a landing page that needs a recognizable Paris skyline.

City: Paris FAQ

The landmarks use a declared stylized scale so they read inside a boulevard-sized scene. The lattice tower is roughly 40 units tall, about twice the tallest boulevard block, Notre-Dame is around 17, Sacré-Cœur around 16 and the triumphal arch around 9. Their own proportions stay true; only their world size is compressed.
Yes. The water category includes open Seine water plus a connectable stone-quay shore set with straight, corner-in and corner-out pieces, all on the 4 m grid. Lay the quay pieces around the water tiles to frame the river, then add the bateau-mouche or the seine_quay set-piece for a dressed stretch of embankment.
Under Sparkling Tower Night the whole lattice takes a golden illumination and the sparkle studs along its chords light up, while the arch's coffered vaults turn amber with floodlight. Window insets, réverbères, café festoons and the carousel bulbs also brighten. It is all vertex color from palettes.json, so no extra geometry is involved.
Each of the six set-pieces exports a baked base, named decor meshes such as table_L, parasol and string_lights, and empty slot_* anchors. The generated prebuild component renders all of them, so you can edit its JSX to drop or swap a decor mesh and parent your own props to a slot like slot_kiosk.
Vehicles are authored at about 0.62 to 0.66 times metric size so a car reads clearly shorter than a house is wide on the stylized 4 m plan grid. They pivot at the rear axle on the ground, so you can place them directly on the boulevard road tiles.
Every asset is a web-optimized GLB (binary glTF) with Draco-compressed geometry — 62 files, 8.7 MB in total, about 1,505,432 triangles across the pack. Load them in plain three.js with GLTFLoader plus DRACOLoader — or in React Three Fiber with drei's useGLTF hook. The licensed download also includes typed React Three Fiber components for the pack.
