License

Use assets inside your projects — including commercial projects. Do not resell, mirror, share, repackage, or redistribute asset files or download access.

Last updated July 8, 2026 · v1
01

Free Asset License

Public label: Free Commercial License. Free assets can be used in personal, open-source, educational, client, commercial, game, app, website, video, and shipped product work. You may modify, transform, combine, and embed them in your end products without attribution.

Not allowed: selling, sublicensing, mirroring, sharing, redistributing, repackaging, or making the asset files available as standalone files, asset packs, stock collections, downloadable templates, starter kits, marketplace listings, datasets, or competing services.

02

Pack Commercial License

A pack is a curated set of premium assets bought once. Buying it licenses every covered asset for use in your own client and commercial work, and unlocks gated downloads for the pack.

A pack covers the assets in that pack, including future premium assets added to that purchased pack while it remains part of the first-party library. It does not cover the rest of the library.

Not allowed: reselling or redistributing asset files, modified or unmodified; reselling the pack; sharing your TJA_ key; or using the files to create a competing asset library, marketplace product, stock pack, template bundle, starter kit, dataset, or public mirror.

03

Pack Commercial License — Organisation

Who is covered: Your company, up to 50 people. Version v1.

Allowed: use covered premium assets in unlimited shipped end products and receive future premium assets added to the purchased pack while it remains part of the first-party library. Not allowed: resell or redistribute asset files, modified or unmodified; resell the pack; share TJA_ keys; or create a competing asset library, marketplace product, stock pack, template bundle, starter kit, dataset, or public mirror.

Who is covered. This licence is granted to one organisation — a company or other legal entity — rather than to a person. It covers one team's use within that single organisation, on any number of that organisation's projects, by up to 50 people working for it. It does not extend to any other organisation.

04

Pack Commercial License — Studio (up to 5 people)

Who is covered: Your studio, up to 5 people.

It covers one team's use within that single organisation, on any number of that organisation's projects, by up to 5 people working for it. It does not extend to any other organisation.

05

Pack Commercial License — Company (up to 20 people)

Who is covered: Your company, up to 20 people.

It covers one team's use within that single organisation, on any number of that organisation's projects, by up to 20 people working for it. It does not extend to any other organisation.

06

Pack Commercial License — Large company (up to 50 people)

07

Lifetime Commercial License

The lifetime license is a single one-time purchase covering the full first-party premium asset library: every current premium asset plus every future first-party asset added to that covered library.

Future separate products — such as tooling, third-party marketplace items, custom services, or unrelated software — are excluded unless threejsassets explicitly adds them to the covered library.

Lifetime does not grant resale, redistribution, mirroring, repackaging, key-sharing, download-access sharing, or ownership of the asset files themselves.

08

Pro subscription

A Pro subscription unlocks every Stylised pack, including new ones, for as long as it is active. It is access to those packs rather than a purchase of them: the packs are not bought outright, and the subscription grants no resale, redistribution, mirroring, repackaging, key-sharing, or download-access-sharing rights.

When a subscription ends, you keep every file you have already downloaded — we will never ask you to delete them — and anything you had already built with them stays yours to ship. An asset you put into an end product while you were subscribed may stay in that end product permanently, and you may keep developing, updating, selling, and distributing it. What stops is the library: you can no longer download assets, updates, or replacements, and you may not use the assets in a project or end product you start after your subscription ends.

The terms your subscription is licensed under are shown and agreed at checkout and recorded with your subscription, so a later wording change never rewrites what you agreed to. Your account's billing page shows which version applies to you.

Bundles are separate one-time purchases and are not part of any subscription: a plan covers only the packs marked as included in plans at the time you download them, which may be some of the packs in a bundle but never the bundle as a whole.

09

Subscription Commercial License — Individual

Who is covered: Just you: one person, including a one-person company. Version v1.

Subscription Commercial License — Individual (v1)

Grant. While your subscription is active, you may download the premium assets it covers and use, modify, and combine them in unlimited personal and commercial end products — games, applications, websites, videos, and printed or marketing materials — with no attribution required. This is access to the library for as long as you subscribe, not a purchase of it.

Scope of entitlement. Your subscription covers the premium packs in the first-party library, including packs added to it while your subscription is active. Free-tier assets keep their own Free Commercial License and are unaffected by anything in this licence.

When your subscription ends. Your subscription ends when you cancel, when it lapses for non-payment, or when it is otherwise terminated. Access runs to the end of the period you have already paid for. From that moment, all four of the following apply:

1. You keep the files you have already downloaded. You are not required to delete them.

2. End products you have already made stay licensed, permanently. If you incorporated an asset into an end product before your subscription ended, it may stay in that end product for good. You may keep developing, updating, publishing, selling, and distributing that end product, and the rights of everyone you have already distributed it to are unaffected. This survival is perpetual and does not depend on you ever subscribing again.

3. You may not use the assets in anything new. You may not incorporate them into a project or end product that you begin after your subscription ends, and you may not add an asset to an existing end product it was not already part of.

4. Downloads stop. You lose access to the download library: no new assets, no new versions or updates of assets you already have, and no re-downloading files you have lost. Keep your own backups of anything you rely on.

Restrictions, which do not expire. At no point — during your subscription or after it ends — may you resell, sublicense, mirror, share, repackage, or redistribute the asset files, whether modified or unmodified, as standalone files, asset packs, stock collections, templates, starter kits, UI kits, datasets, marketplace listings, source-available repositories, or a competing library or service. Assets must be embedded in an end product, not extractable from it as a reusable asset set. You may not share your account credentials or TJA_ download credentials, or use them to give anyone else download access. These restrictions survive the end of your subscription.

Who is covered. This licence is granted to one natural person. That person may use the licensed assets in their own work, including work for clients and work done through a company in which they are the only person working (a one-person company). It does not cover anyone else — not employees, contractors, collaborators, or other members of a company or team. Each of them needs their own licence, or the organisation needs an Organisation licence.

Eligibility. This licence is available only to an individual who either buys it for themselves, not on behalf of a company, or works for a company (including their own one-person company) whose annual revenue or total funding is under US$1,000,000. A company's figure is whichever is higher: its revenue over the last 12 months, or the total funding it has raised to date, in each case counted across the company and its affiliates. This licence may not be paid for or reimbursed, directly or indirectly, by a company at or above that limit. A company at or above that limit needs a Company licence or Team seats instead.

Resubscribing. Starting a new subscription restores download access and the full grant above for as long as it is active. It does not retroactively change anything about the period in between.

No warranty. Assets are provided "as is"; liability is limited to the amount you have paid in the twelve months before the claim.

Your subscription snapshots the licence version current when it started, so a later change to this wording never rewrites what you agreed to.

11

ThreeJS Assets Icons License

Icons carry their own license, separate from the asset licenses above. You receive a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, and reproduce the licensed icons in unlimited personal and commercial end products — games, applications, websites, videos, and printed or marketing materials — with no attribution required.

A paid icon license covers the icons in the collections attached to your purchase, including icons later added to those collections. Free-tier icons carry the same usage grant for any signed-in user.

Not allowed: redistributing, reselling, sublicensing, or sharing the icon files themselves (SVG, PNG, or derived formats) as downloadable files — standalone or as part of an icon library, asset pack, template, UI kit, design tool, or source-available repository, free or paid. Icons must be embedded in an end product, not extractable from it as a reusable icon set. Icons may not be used as (part of) a trademark or logo, or in unlawful, defamatory, or misleading material.

One license covers one individual, or one team's use within a single organization on any number of that organization's projects.

ThreeJS Assets Icons License — Individual (v1)

Grant. Scope of entitlement. Paid licenses cover the icons in the collections attached to your purchase, including icons later added to those collections. Free-tier icons carry this same grant for any signed-in user.

What you may not do. 14

TJA_ keys are download credentials

When you buy a pack or lifetime license, Stripe processes the payment and threejsassets.com issues a local TJA_ download credential. That key proves entitlement at the gated download route; the license terms version shown in your email and account page defines legal usage rights.

Do not share your TJA_ key or use it to provide download access to someone else.

15

Preview access and source provenance

The public model preview lets you evaluate assets in-browser. Directly fetching a preview GLB does not grant production-use, download, resale, redistribution, or mirroring rights. Premium licensed downloads still require an active paid entitlement.

Source/provenance information, such as an upstream source license or attribution, is separate from the customer-facing distribution license. If an upstream original is public-domain or CC0, that upstream original remains under its original grant; the optimized threejsassets package and hosted distribution use the TJA license shown here unless otherwise stated.

16

Catalog content display

Third parties may display our catalog content — asset and pack names, descriptions, poster images, prices, and links — obtained via the public API, for the purpose of listing our assets and linking to threejsassets.com. Each displayed item must link to its page on threejsassets.com, and each page showing catalog content must carry a visible attribution as described on the partner page.

This grant covers display only. It is revocable at any time, and it grants no rights to asset files, model previews, or downloads. The asset-use licenses above are unchanged: using assets inside your own products still requires no attribution.

17

API use

Creating an API key means agreeing to these API terms. Keyed API access lets you list the catalog and download the files your account is entitled to — free assets, and any premium content you have purchased or that a lifetime license covers. A key grants no entitlements of its own.

Keys are personal to your account: do not share a key, use it to provide downloads to someone else, or use the API to mirror, scrape, bulk-export, or rehost asset files. Displaying catalog content on a third-party site follows the Catalog content display section above, including its link-back and attribution requirements.

API access — including any individually granted partner access — is revocable at any time, and requests may be rate-limited. Revocation of access or of a key does not change licenses you already hold for assets you obtained while entitled.

18

Platform License — Organisation

Who is covered: Your company, up to 50 people. Version v1.

Platform License — Organisation (v1)

Grant. While your Platform plan is active, your organisation may use, modify, and combine the premium assets your plan covers inside its own product, and may present them to that product's end users as part of the product — rendered in scenes, configurators, editors, games, or other experiences your product provides. This is access for as long as you subscribe, not a purchase of the library.

End users. Your plan includes a number of distinct end users per calendar month (UTC), stated as its band. End users receive no licence of their own to the assets: they may use them only inside your product, as your product presents them. When a month's distinct end users pass the band, the overage rule of your plan applies — either a notice and an invitation to move to a larger band, or usage billed as stated on your plan.

Export: baked output only. What your product may hand to an end user — to download, save, or take outside your product — is baked output only: rendered images and video, and runtime geometry that has been baked, merged, or compressed for display. You may not give end users the editable source deliverables — named, separately addressable model files, source components, palettes, or the licensed download bundles — or any tool that reconstructs them. A written contract with your organisation may extend this; nothing else does.

Included seats. The people your organisation assigns to the seats your plan includes may also use the assets in their own work for your organisation under the Team terms, for as long as they hold a seat.

When your plan ends. Access runs to the end of the period you have already paid for. Products you have already shipped may keep presenting the assets already built into them to existing end users, but you may not add the assets to anything new, and downloads stop.

Restrictions, which do not expire. You may not resell, sublicense, mirror, share, repackage, or redistribute the asset files, modified or unmodified, or make them available as a library, marketplace, template, or dataset — inside your product or outside it. API keys and end-user tokens are your organisation's and must not be shared beyond it.

Who is covered. This licence is granted to one organisation — a company or other legal entity — and its own product. It does not extend to any other organisation, or to products your organisation builds for others to operate.

No warranty. Assets are provided "as is"; liability is limited to the amount you have paid in the twelve months before the claim.

Your plan snapshots the licence version current when it started, so a later change to this wording never rewrites what you agreed to.
