River Under Bridge Tile
The length of river the span actually crosses: a cut channel walled in battered stone revetment, the water running dark and deep down the middle and shelving pale over gravel at the toes, and the whole middle of it dropped into the cold green shadow of the deck overhead. The banks are cut back to the abutment faces, so the bridge lands square on the crest at both sides.
