Speed Restriction Board
The permanent speed board: cut-out numerals bolted to a cross bracket on a rusting post, with the warning chevron plate under them and a concrete foot. It is the sign that tells you the curve ahead is the reason the timetable is what it is — and it is cheap enough to line a whole approach with.
