Signal Shunt Dwarf
The ground disc that works the yard: a little cast case on a concrete pad carrying a white disc with its red bar turned ON, the lamp burning red through the front of the case and the green glass waiting on the rim, with the rodding running away to the points. Drop two or three of these into a siding and the loose track suddenly reads as a controlled shunting neck.
