Diesel Fuel Point
The modern era arriving in the yard: a banded fuel tank on saddles inside a bunded slab, the delivery hose looping over the bund wall to a nozzle racked on its column, a spill tray dark with the last spill under it and the no-smoking notices bolted where a driver has to read them. The counterpart to the steam-era water crane, and the pair tells the whole story of the depot.
