A sandstorm sky: a sepia haze dome with a low sun smothered to a dim ochre disc inside a pale halo, one thin band of dust dragged right across its face; soft bands of blowing dust lying against the sky in three layers, each broad mid-run and feathering out at both ends, dark against the pale horizon and pale against the dark crown, with thinner strands of the other tone peeling off the heavy low ones, all running with the same wind; billowing dust fronts at the heads of the big low bands, and a low wall of dust rolling in along the horizon on the storm side.
