Two unmarked tracks crossing: straight-through ruts and turning wheel paths from all four ways overlap in a wide churned, sunken crossing of dark wet mud, with puddles in its low spots, thrown clods, stones kicked out of the ruts and grass trodden flat. The crowns grow grass again out along each arm, and a small tufted corner of verge sits between each pair of arms. All four arms match the straight dirt track exactly, and every edge sits at the same level.
