About Haunted Parlour Interior

Haunted Parlour is an ornate Victorian parlour drawn through a cartoon lens, built for three.js and React Three Fiber. It's cozy and warm rather than horror: overstuffed tufted upholstery, cabriole legs, gilt filigree, tassels and nailhead trim, with about a third of the pieces carrying a gentle spooky touch.

What's inside

  • Modular shell: parquet and marble-checker floors, plain, damask, wainscot and half walls, inside and outside corners, paneled and double doors, gothic arch, oculus and bay sash windows, ceiling tiles, beams and a ceiling rose
  • Seating: a tufted chesterfield, a two-seat sofa, a scroll settee, wingback and high-back armchairs, a chaise longue, dining chairs, a footstool and a carved throne
  • Hero pieces: a grand marble hearth, a grandfather clock, a six-arm candelabra chandelier, staircase pieces with a newel and landing, a curio cabinet and a draped wardrobe
  • Lighting: table and floor lamps, scroll and skull sconces, candle stands, candelabras and candle clusters
  • Story props and spooky touches: a tea service and trolley, a writing desk with inkwell, books, portraits, a tapestry, a steamer trunk, a perched raven, a spirit orb, a mirror with an eye, a googly-eyed critter and a small, apologetic ghost

Palettes, prebuilds and configurator

Four palettes ship: Parlour Daylight, Gaslight Gold, Moss & Fog and the Midnight Seance showpiece, where candles, lamps and glowing orbs carry the room.

Five decoratable prebuilds are ready to place: a hearth wall, a reading nook, a grand stair hall, a seance alcove and a haunted study. Four configurator products (the wingback chair, scroll settee, green damask wall panel and draped wardrobe) also ship with named material zones so you can recolor them live.

Scale and use

Everything is 1 unit = 1 m at full real scale, Y-up, +Z forward. Walls share a 1 m module width and a 2.7 m height, floor tiles are 1 m squares, and wall- and ceiling-hung pieces pivot at their attach point. Every asset ships as a GLB with a typed React Three Fiber component, plus a combined catalog file.

Good fits include cozy-spooky games, escape rooms, seasonal storefronts and furniture configurator demos.

Haunted Parlour Interior FAQ

Every wall piece shares a 1 m module width and a 2.7 m wall height, so any two pieces mate flush at any 90° rotation. Inside and outside corner pieces turn the room, and the five openings (paneled door, double door, gothic arch, oculus and bay sash window) swap into a run without changing the gauge. Floor tiles are 1 m squares.
Not really. It's a cozy, warm Victorian room in a cartoon style, never horror. About a third of the pieces carry a gentle spooky touch, such as a googly-eyed critter, an eye in the mirror, a small sheet ghost with an apologetic expression and a skull-faced sconce, which makes it suitable for family-friendly seasonal projects.
Four products ship a second time with named material zones: the wingback chair and scroll settee (frame, upholstery, cushions, legs), the green damask wall (damask, field, gilt, frame) and the draped wardrobe (carcass, drape, gilt, hardware). Set each material's color at runtime to recolor a zone.
Use the <Name>Prebuild component, which keeps the node names, groups decor and slots, and types every slot anchor. Toggling isn't a prop: copy the generated component and remove or guard the lines for decor you don't want, since each decor node is one named mesh. Slot anchors are empty transforms for placing your own props.
The glow keys flame, lamp, lampShade, ember, orb, orbCore, ghostGlow and eyeGlow, plus the three glass keys, stay bright while the rest of the room goes dark. That puts the candles, lamps, hearth embers, spirit orbs, the small ghost and glowing eyes in charge of the scene.
Every asset is a web-optimized GLB (binary glTF) with Draco-compressed geometry — 88 files, 6.1 MB in total, about 1,139,376 triangles across the pack. Load them in plain three.js with GLTFLoader plus DRACOLoader — or in React Three Fiber with drei's useGLTF hook. The licensed download also includes typed React Three Fiber components for the pack.
