Teahouse — a sukiya pavilion raised a step on a stone course, its engawa of separate planks running out to a kutsunugi step stone with geta left on it, a full front of shoji that glows amber at night, a round marumado window in the side wall, a bronze wind chime and a paper lantern under the eave, beneath a deep irimoya roof of layered cedar shingle with exposed rafters and a latticed gable.
