Ground sedan: a tired maroon four-door with real wheel arches swept into the body, lathed tyres on dished five-spoke rims (one mismatched black steelie), dark glazing between black pillars, a chrome-slat grille, twin-bar headlights with amber indicators, split red tail clusters, number plates front and back, mirrors, wipers and a whip aerial. Lived in: a primer-grey front wing, a dent in the driver door, rust bubbling along the sills, a scraped rear bumper and a dripping exhaust, with a thin cyan underglow line under each sill. Rear axle at ground.
