Concrete footway / plaza-edge tile: chamfered pavers laid flush to all four tile edges on a dark bedding course so the recessed joints read as joints, a soil tree-pit with a cast iron rim at its centre and a brass gully at the kerb line. The kerb itself belongs to the road tile, so this paving continues level across every seam.
