Low-Poly Accessible Road Corner 3D Model (GLB)
Accessible street corner: the carriageway sweeps a true radius, cambered, with a dished channel course following both kerbs round the bend. Radius kerbs are laid as individual bullnosed stones on chords, six round the tight inside and eleven round the long outside, with a wedge joint between each. The tactile guidance course turns with the road as three concentric raised bars — a proper arc, never a mitre, so a cane follows the bend instead of finding the kerb — and arrives at both open arms at the offset the straight leaves at. Paver courses in half-bond follow the outside of the turn and the apron beyond them is laid in bonded flags cut to the curve. A cast gully sits at the drainage low point on the bisector, with the tarmac darkened toward it, and tyre polish is worn into the inside line. Mates with the straights on both open arms.
