Sidewalk Tile
Four metres of concrete walk: poured in slabs with real expansion joints between them, each panel tinted a little differently the way concrete cures, the edges chamfered and worn round, with a hairline crack and a lifted panel where a tree root got under it. The linear piece — it needs no corner or junction, and reads right at any run length.
