Ranch House
The single-story ranch the whole street is built out of: long, low and wide under one shallow gable running the length of it, clapboard siding coursed all the way round, a picture window and two bedroom windows with shutters, a red front door on its threshold, a brick chimney out the roof and a real gutter and downpipe on the eave. Two rooms are lit warm at night and one is dark, the way a house actually is.
