About Cozy Village

Cozy Village is a storybook village kit: cottages and shops, cobbled lanes, gardens, a millpond and stream, village props and a room's worth of interior furniture, all in one warm low-poly style.

What's inside

  • Homes and community buildings: a cottage, a thatched house, a two-storey timber house, a townhouse, a bakery, a blacksmith, a chapel, a general store, a market hall, a tavern inn and a windmill with separate sails.
  • Ground, roads and water: grass, dirt path, garden plot, village green and tilled field tiles, cobble straight, corner, tee and crossing roads, a dirt road, a stone footbridge, a pond, a stream, a well, a water pump and a trough.
  • Nature: oak, pine and fruit trees, round bushes, hedges, flower beds, boulders, stepping stones and a stone pile.
  • Village props: fences, benches, barrels, crates, hay bales, a market stall, a flower cart, laundry lines, a campfire, firewood, a birdhouse, string lights, festival bunting, window boxes, a door wreath, a notice board, signposts and a village entrance sign.
  • Vehicles: a horse cart, a hand cart, a wheelbarrow and a bicycle.
  • Interiors: a sofa, armchair, chairs, tables, a bed, bookshelf, dresser, fireplace, kitchen range, counter sink, stairs, rugs, curtains, lamps and candles.

Seasons and set-pieces

Four seasonal palettes retint the whole village: Spring, Autumn, Winter and Night, where windows glow amber and lanterns, the campfire and string lights carry the dark. Ten decoratable prebuilds (a decorated cottage, a cozy porch, a market corner, a village well, a garden plot, a bakery shopfront, a chapel yard, a windmill scene, a cozy interior and a village square) ship as a base, named decor nodes and empty slot anchors.

Building with it

Terrain and road tiles are four metres square and the cobble pieces mate around a block, so the village grows on a grid. Everything shares one vertex-colour material and the pack is light on triangles, which keeps whole villages fast in the browser. Prebuilds come with typed React Three Fiber components.

It suits cozy farming and life-sim games, storybook and children's sites, seasonal campaign scenes and small explorable portfolio worlds.

Cozy Village FAQ

A decorated cottage, a cozy porch, a market corner, a village well, a garden plot, a bakery shopfront, a chapel yard, a windmill scene, a cozy interior and a village square. Each ships as a static base, decor items such as window boxes, wreaths, lanterns and potted plants as separately named nodes you can show, hide or replace, and empty slot_* anchors for your own props.
The village has four palettes: Spring, Autumn, Winter and Night. Sky domes are painted from the palette's sky keys, so they retint with the season, and at Night every window glows amber while lanterns, the campfire and string lights carry the scene. The starry night and sunset domes give the evening palettes their backdrops.
Yes. The pack includes an interiors set: sofa, armchair, chairs, stool, dining, side and coffee tables, a bed, bookshelf, cabinet, dresser, fireplace, kitchen range, counter sink, stairs, rug, curtains, a framed picture, lamps and candles. The cozy interior prebuild is a furnished room vignette rather than a walk-in playable interior with collision.
Terrain tiles such as grass and the pond are four metres square. The cobble road set has straight, corner, tee and crossing pieces that mate around a block on matching radii, and road_dirt_road_01 shares the cobble straight's footprint so the two interchange. The humpbacked stone footbridge drops over the stream tile.
They are built to be animated in your scene. windmill_sail_01 is a separate asset authored hub-centred, so you can rotate it on the windmill's hub stub, and chimney_smoke_01 is a rising puff column you rotate above any chimney. The pond and stream surfaces are rippled by scene code in the demo, not baked animation.
Every asset is a web-optimized GLB (binary glTF) with Draco-compressed geometry — 91 files, 511 KB in total, about 67,325 triangles across the pack. Load them in plain three.js with GLTFLoader plus DRACOLoader — or in React Three Fiber with drei's useGLTF hook. The licensed download also includes typed React Three Fiber components for the pack.
