Low-Poly Snow Wall 3D Model (GLB)
A wind wall of sawn snow blocks, the oldest polar technology there is: blocks cut from the drift with a snow saw, chamfered and softened, stacked in staggered courses on a packed footing and battered back as they rise. The top is ragged -- two blocks never set, one tipped, one fallen onto the lee drift and another broken at the windward foot. The windward face is scoured smooth and glazed blue-white with rime feathering off the joints, a wind scoop runs along its base, the lee face still shows the saw marks, and the lee drift has piled up almost to the top course.
