Low-Poly Arctic Glacial Erratic 3D Model (GLB)
A glacial erratic: one big lone boulder carried here by an ice sheet and left PERCHED on a pile of its own scree when the ice retreated -- broken blocks wedged under its belly and leaning against its flanks, the boulder bedded into them. It tapers upward from a broad foot and is split along two big flat joint faces, its other edges worn round into many small unequal facets; the bare rock of its tilted top is scored with fine parallel glacial striations around a cushion of snow on the low side; lobed lichen crusts grow on the lee side and a wet, soiled band darkens its foot.
