Low-Poly Icebreaker Ship 3D Model (GLB)
The icebreaker moored at the floe edge. The red hull is lofted through real sections, with a flat bottom, a turned bilge and a bow that flares and rakes up out of the water so the ship can ride onto the pack and break it under its own weight. A black ice belt runs the waterline under a white boot-top and a rubbing strake, with portholes along the hull and anchors stowed in their pockets. On deck: a windlass with chain running to the hawse pipes, bollards, a hatch coaming, two lashed containers, two deck cranes with cabs and hook blocks, and a stern A-frame. The chamfered white superstructure steps up to a glazed bridge with open wings, lit portholes and windows, orange lifeboats in davits, railed decks with ladders, and snow lying on every roof. Above it are a mast with radar scanners, a radome and navigation lights, a raked funnel with a white band and a sooted top, and a searchlight raking the black water. Deliberately compact at about 20 m long, so it is still the largest thing in a scene without swamping the station beside it.
