Low-Poly Ice Smoke 3D Model (GLB)
Sea smoke rising off an open lead: when air at forty below meets water at zero the sea appears to steam. Most of it is a low, wide blanket of vapour lying on the black water — soft swells combed downwind, its edge torn into a fraying outline with holes of open water through it, fading into the lead rather than ending on a hem. Out of it rise three thin threads of steam that lean with the wind and break apart as they climb into a trail of separated little puffs carried off downwind, with a few strays already torn free. Painted in cold blue-greys, darkest where it lies on the water, so it reads as vapour and never as snow.
