Low-Poly Great Hall 3D Model (GLB)
The chieftain's great hall and the heart of the village: a long bow-sided hall of tarred planks, battered inward under the weight of its roof, seated on a drystone footing with earth-fast props raking against both flanks. Sill, wale and wall plate run unbroken round the swell of the walls; the sod roof sags a full third of a metre between its gables, its courses lapping down to a sheared bank of earth at the deep eave; crossed bargeboards finish in carved beast heads at both verges; and a louvred smoke-hole breathes amber firelight over the ridge. The plank door hangs on forged straps under a runed lintel, its threshold worn hollow, with a raven keeping watch on the ridge-line.
