Low-Poly Crevasse 3D Model (GLB)
A crevasse split through the glacier: a jagged, zig-zag fracture torn through a snow slab that fills its full 4 m cell, opening into a lens through the middle and pinching shut to a hairline at both ends. Its overhanging cornice lips are undercut above walls that grade from white snow through glacial blue into the dark ice core at the throat. Icicles hang from the lips, a thick, sagging snow bridge still spans part of it, its ragged ends gripping both lips and its front edge snapped off and slumped into the gap — and the slab around it is wind-scoured into low sastrugi ridges that settle to a flat rim, level on all four edges so it sits flush in a glacier or snowfield with no step or seam. The hazard the flagged routes exist to route around.
