Low-Poly Comms Mast 3D Model (GLB)
The comms and antenna mast: the station's vertical hero -- fourteen metres of tapering, guyed steel lattice on a concrete plinth. Faceted legs are flanged and bolted at every section, X-braced with bolted crossings and gusset plates, and the windward face is glazed with rime feathers. A caged-off ladder with a fall-arrest cable climbs the whole way to a railed service platform; above it three sector panel antennas stand on pipe mounts, below it a big satellite dish and a drum microwave dish hang on brackets, and their feeder cables run down a cable ladder to an equipment cabinet at the foot. Six guy wires in two tiers run to concrete deadmen through turnbuckles, the lowest with yellow guards, and the red aviation beacon burns at the crown with a pair of obstruction lights halfway up.
