A drop-in damaged bay of the room wall, breached clean through over three courses: the break shows the section nowhere else in the kit shows you — two dressed ashlar skins with a hundred and forty millimetres of rammed rubble-and-mortar fill between them — with one stone still hanging off the head on nothing but that fill, the blocks it shed lying at the foot in the sizes they were laid in, and a stepped crack climbing the coursing on the right under a rusted iron stitch-plate.
