A half-turn landing platform whose deck sits at exactly half a storey — 1.5 m, so two flights and one landing climb one 3 m storey — carried on a corbelled stone bracket course over a quoined podium, the flights arriving at -Z and leaving at +X, with a lathed timber handrail stepping at the corner newel over a guttered candle stub in a niche cut through the parapet, and the pivot-scuff worn into the deck where everybody turns left, a dropped coin lying just off the traffic line.
